AGIKI was founded in 2020. Our name is inspired by ikigai, the Japanese concept of “a reason for being,” and it’s a reminder of what we stand for: modern, minimal design made with intention.
We design functional handbags for the modern woman with a full day ahead. Our mission is simple: effortless style that keeps you organized.
AGIKI bag begins with genuine top-grain leather, hand-selected from hundreds of swatches. Each design goes through several rounds of samples, with every details adjusted until the shape is exactly right. Some of our bags have taken a year and a half to perfect.
Function is at the heart of everything we make. Thoughtful compartments, the right size and comfortable carry are designed around a real day. Made in small batches, each piece pairs easily with any outfit, so you can walk into any room feeling ready.
"For years, my laptop came everywhere with me, from my morning commute to meetings to dinner after work. I was always looking for one bag that could do it all: easy to carry, organized inside, and still something I loved wearing. I never found it. So one day I thought, why not make it myself? That little idea became the convertible work bag, and that’s how AGIKI began."
